Church of No, Thanks Celebrating Personal Liberty since 2008

Well, as is customary, I am planning to host a NoThanksGiving barbecue on the last day of NoThanksGiving (Saturday, May 30, this year). Last summer I was so preoccupied with making my house livable, then moving into it, that I never did some basic things that people normally do in the summer if they haven't already take care of such things... like get a grill and patio set. I barely got a mower.

Well, now i have a grill, and took it for a test drive this weekend, viz:

I broke in the grill, and I think we're in business.

So, what should be served at the NoThanksGiving BBQ? Well, that's primarily up to the host, but there should be something symbolic present for ceremonial refusal... in accordance with the Buffet of Personal Affirmation. Again, the choice of what that is is up to the host.

I haven't nailed down exactly what I'll be serving, but we're looking forward to a spiffy afternoon and evening to cap off NoThanksGiving!
