Funerals

As you should know, if you gotten far enough in your life to get here, death is a normal part of life.

What do we do about it?

The Church does not officially acknowledge any gods, afterlives, paradises, et cetera. Individual Members might believe in such things, but The Church cannot officially embrace those beliefs.

Because the death of a loved one often marks a time of deep reflection, usually accompanied by sadness and sometimes regret, it is also a time when people are very emotionally vulnerable. It is with this in mind, that I suggest the CoNT Funeral not be about meat or tiny plots of real estate, but about life; remembering the dead in moderation and then the living getting on with the business of living.
